SYNOPSIS
Animation is a big part of the voiceover universe. These days, studios are creating a consistent stream of animation content and looking for new voices to emerge and bring something unique to the characters they create. And....it all begins with the animation audition.
It is no secret that animation audition specs can be confusing. For instance, what is a "natural" read? How do you proceed when you are asked to "do nothing" or "just talk" or "don't act?" In this class, Anna Garduno will teach you how to convert vague and confusing animation specs into understandable directives. that can help you deliver bookable auditions.
You will work on:
How to create characters with "natural," as well as "cartoony" reads.
How to animate your characters by adding a sense of "location and movement" to your reads.
How to create original characters for a competitive and exciting animation demo.
What should be on an animation demo?
What are the most common mistakes on animation demos.
Where do you find copy for animation demos?
