SYNOPSIS

This online class will feature a Q&A with LA Based Casting Professional, Emily Fleischer, followed by a prepared work session.

Participating actors will prepare and self-tape a scene or monologue of their choice from film or tv.  Actors should be prepared to receive a re-direct and perform live in class after viewing their tape.

ABOUT EMILY

Emily Fleischer has cast a number of features, shorts and series out of NY and LA including DEAD RINGERS for Amazon, Paul Schrader’s Oscar Nominated FIRST REFORMED as well as his film THE CARD COUNTER with Susan Shopmaker. She was nominated for Artios awards alongside Shopmaker for their work on Terence Nance's RANDOM ACTS OF FLYNESS for HBO as well as Darius Marder's Oscar Winning SOUND OF METAL. She also cast the final two seasons of WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA for Hulu, Titus Kaphar's EXHIBITING FORGIVENESS, Nikyatu Jusu's Sundance award winning NANNY, and Spike Lee's reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa's HIGH AND LOW with Kim Coleman. She also recently worked on Sean Baker's Palme d'Or winning, ANORA. 

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 30 days prior to this event to be eligible to register

Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will receive a link inviting them to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be sent the link to join the class.
