Synopsis
Join award winning narrator Helen Laser for a workshop designed to help you breathe life into the page and make your audiobook narration sing. In the first part of this session, Helen will share ideas on how to prepare a script and ways to identify and perform narration from the protagonist's perspective in order to deliver an engaging cinematic experience for your listener. The second part of this session will consist of an extended Q&A for all of your audiobook related questions. Don't miss this opportunity to listen and learn from an audiobook industry expert!
Requirements
This workshop is a lecture and a Q&A. Participants are required to check-in during check-in window and remain for the 75 minute duration of the session. Participants can choose to keep their camera on or off but are asked to arrive on Zoom on mute.
Instructor Bio
Helen Laser is an audiobook narrator, voiceover artist, and actor of stage and screen. In the audiobook world, she is an Audie Award Finalist, LA Times Book Prizes finalist, SOVAS nominee, One Voice Award finalist, and multiple Audiofile Earphones Award winner, and records live sessions with clients all over the world, both remotely from home, and in-person.
