SYNOPSIS
This class focuses on vocal health, with practical exercises to help actors find their most competitive reads for auditions. Actors will learn to embrace their inner drama and create dynamic video game characters, while also grasping the profound differences in creating video game characters by referencing the 12 archetypal characters in all video games. Vocal warm-ups and exercises for building natural effort sounds are included.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Paul Liberti
Paul Liberti is a Los Angeles-based casting director and animation voice director. His voice acting credits include Pokemon, Blues Clues, Noggin's Pinky Dinky Doo, SNL Cartoons, Sesame Street, and Jim Henson's Muppets. In addition, he also teaches acting, specializing in multiple genres of voiceover, including commercial, animation, video games, and narration. Paul is the co-creator of AuthorDirect Audio, which directs non-fiction reads for Audible, as well.
As an in-demand teacher, Paul leads competitive classes across the country, including at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in Los Angeles and New York City. He has also taught for many university acting programs nationwide.
Paul’s skills as a dialect coach have provided collaborative opportunities for him to work with actors in films and on theatrical stages from Broadway to the West End. Regional Theaters are also destinations for his coaching with recent shows including Disney's Frozen, USA Network's Falling Water, The National Theater's One Night in Miami, Greater Tuna, Anastasia, My Fair Lady, Carousel, and Brigadoon.

This class is virtual and will take place over Zoom. The Join Details (Zoom link and other related information) will be emailed to those on the RSVP list no later than 1 hour before the start time of the class.
This is a large format class with potentially 100+ participants.
There will be a limited number of readers for this class.
Attendees are expected to attend the entire program (see Duration above).
