Join us for this 1-hour virtual talk with agents from Atlas Talent Agency.  The talk will feature Jonn Wasser, Heather Dame, Tim Walsh and Nate Zeitz.  The discussion will touch on a variety of topics that are important to voiceover actors, including talent acquisition, agent-actor relations, demos and demo submissions, current trends in the market, the impact of emerging technologies in voiceover, securing representation and more.  Attendees will be able to submit questions to expand the discussion, as well.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS

Jonn Wasser, Co-Founder

Jonn Wasser began his career in the ICM Mailroom. He then became the Director of Marketing for Radio City Music Hall where he procured the First Sponsorships for the renowned Magnificent Christmas Spectacular, the Concert Series and others. 

Pursuing his passion for Agenting, Jonn took a step backwards when he took a job at Buchwald Talent Agency, where he was the first to sign Clients with Home Studios and expand the Promo Department to Los Angeles. 

In the Year 2000, Jonn, along with his business partner Lisa Marber-Rich and 2 others opened Atlas Talent Agency, which recently celebrated its 25 Year Anniversary. 

Jonn holds a B.A. in English and Theatre from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from American University

Heather Dame, Executive Vice President

Heather is currently the EVP of Atlas LA and heads up Atlas' west coast branch. She was tasked by Atlas to move out to Los Angeles 14 years ago to help develop and start up the new West Coast branch of the company. This included building the foundation of a positive public brand for the company by developing new relationships and engaging clients and buyers in the company philosophy, building new buyer relationships, growing and pitching new areas of business and carefully crafting a successful talent roster to invest in. Heather built Atlas' Animation and Games department from the ground up, as well as mentored and partnered with other agents in developing the Los Angeles commercial, video game and promo/narration/trailer departments. Fourteen years and four office expansions later, Atlas LA has 10 full-time Los Angeles employees, four full-time agents and competes with the top LA Voice-over agencies.

Heather heads up the animation department and also works as an agent in the areas of promos, trailers, narrations and video games, in addition to managing the LA staff and office. She is proud to say that many of her past assistants have gone on to have very successful careers in entertainment. She is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion, and over the past few years, has been spearheading an effort to discover and develop underrepresented talent and help them create and sustain long-term careers in Voiceover. She believes in making a difference wherever she can, and conducting business genuinely and always with integrity.

Tim Walsh, Executive Vice President

Tim has been a Voiceover commercial agent for 18 years at Atlas Talent agency and 2 years previously at Innovative Artists.  His area of expertise is in union voiceover commercials. He loves working with new talent and getting them that first booking.

Nate Zeitz, Executive Vice President

Nate Zeitz is an accomplished and seasoned voice over agent with 25 years of experience in the business.  He has worked with top VO talent in the industry and many of the biggest broadcasting companies in the United States and around the world. 

 After graduating from Trinity College in Hartford, CT in 2000 with a degree in political science, Nate joined the William Morris Agency (now William Morris Endeavor) in New York as a VO assistant in WME’s commercial department.

 Two years later, he left WME to join CESD Talent Agency in New York, where he quickly rose to the position of agent within six months.   There, Nate created and developed CESD’s radio imaging and television divisions and for the next 21 years, ran those divisions. 

Nate joined Atlas Talent Agency in January 2024 as an EVP where he now heads its radio imaging department, co-runs its television affiliate department, and handles several of Atlas’s sports accounts, including, ABC Sports, CBS Sports, ESPN, NHL Productions and MLB Network. 

 He resides in the greater Seattle, WA area with his wife and two children where he works remotely for Atlas.  When he’s not agenting, Nate enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, rooting on his beloved NY Mets from afar, and exploring the wonderful abounds of the Pacific Northwest, most notably its beautiful outdoor life and amazing seafood!
