SYNOPSIS
Established in May 2010, the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab serves as a cornerstone for aspiring and professional voice actors. True to the legacy of its namesake, Don LaFontaine, known for his generosity and mentorship, the Lab is dedicated to "paying it forward" by offering a wealth of educational ind skill-building opportunities.
The Lab is a place of growth and development that fosters a vibrant community where voice actors can hone their craft. Many participants have successfully launched their careers, securing voiceover work and even establishing themselves within the industry.
"The Graduates" exemplify this success and mission. These actors, have leveraged the Lab's resources to build careers in voiceover and they want to share their journeys and insights with their peers. Join us for an inspiring evening of conversation and community!

PANELIST'S BIOS
Andia Winslow
Andia Winslow is an Emmy, Telly, Clio, Shorty, Society of Voice Arts & Sciences and SAG AFTRA Foundation Don LaFontaine Spirit Award winning voiceover actor and storyteller whose credits include documentary films, animated movies, televised award shows, museum exhibitions, international advocacy campaigns, video games, promos, movie trailers and commercials. In 2021, she was named "Voice Artist of the Year" by One Voice. A member of the Television Academy, she is the host of Doc World on World Channel (PBS), the narrator of basketball legend Brittney Griner’s New York Times best-selling memoir “Coming Home,” colonial marine Zula Hendricks in the VR video game Alien: Rogue Incursion and a voice of NASA. Raised in Seattle and educated at Yale University, Andia dedicated time as a professional golfer, TV personality and fitness industry thought leader before rocking the mic full time. She was the first African American female varsity golfer to compete in the Ivy League and, in 2006, became the fourth African American to ever compete in LPGA Tour history.
An elite athlete, Andia trained with Olympic Hall of Fame Track & Field Coach Brooks Johnson and was invited to join the USA Bobsled and Skeleton Federation in preparation for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. As an artist inspired by movement and kinetic storytelling, her innovative wellness efforts have been recognized globally with features by the New York Times, SXSW, CNN, Sports Illustrated and Golf Digest with Forbes calling her work the “Smartest, Sexiest Workout Videos Ever." She made her feature film debut as golf pioneer Ann Gregory in "Playing Through" (2022) and her live-action TV debut in the Sony and Amazon Pictures reboot of the baseball classic movie "A League of Their Own" (2022). Watch for her in the reimagining of the Warner Bros. Studios classic Western “Calamity Jane” (2025) on HBO Max.
Rebecca Davis
Rebecca is an Award Winning Voice and Stage Actress. As a theatrically trained actor she’s performed on stages around the world. Now, you’ll mostly hear her behind the mic in video games, animation, movie trailers, anime, narration, commercials, dubbing, promos, live action tv and film along with audio description.
Her love of character work has led to her being part of some iconic video game franchises including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, The Last of Us: Part 2, World of Warcraft, The Walking Dead, Horizon Zero Dawn, Asgard’s Wrath 2, The Callisto Protocol, Arena of Valor, along with beloved animated projects including Incredibles 2, Puss in Boots, Marmaduke, Lego Friends and more. Commercially she’s been part of campaigns for Toyota, State Farm, Best Buy, Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, Honda, Best Western, Dunkin’ Donuts, CVS, Lexus, Payless Shoes as well as being the international voice for Diet Coke.

She’s also been a Resident Artist of the critically acclaimed theater company Moving Arts for 15 years, the Inaugural Recipient of SAG Foundation’s Don LaFontaine Voiceover Spirit Award Winner, a SOVAS winner and a 7 time nominee for the One Voice Awards, including Best International Performance.
Her favorite voiceover direction she’s ever been given is, “Can you make the vomit sound more like a trickling stream rather than a rushing river. ” This is one of the reasons she truly loves her job. When she’s not working she’s likely off traveling the world, lounging with her dogs and husband, and is currently attempting to learn how to ride a bike.
Paul Sanders
Paul Sanders is an accomplished voiceover artist and actor with over 17 years of experience in the entertainment industry. The second recipient of the 2015 SAG-AFTRA Foundation Don LaFontaine Spirit Award, Paul has built a distinguished career voicing campaigns for major brands including HBO, Amazon, Disney,Walmart, AT&T, MLB-TV, Activision and more.
He began his voiceover training with Rodney Saulsberry and Delores Diehl, studied performance and improvisation at Second City Hollywood and Upright Citizens Brigade, and later refined his scene study and character work at Atwater Playhouse. I
n addition to his extensive commercial and promotional voiceover work, Paul has appeared in on-camera national television commercials, bringing his confident presence and versatility to both voice and screen. His voice has also been featured in narration, ADR, celebrity voice matching, and looping for film and television. His client list includes top entertainment studios, networks, and national advertisers.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran with 10 years of service, Paul brings professionalism, discipline, and focus to every project. Originally from Los Angeles, he is also a passionate supporter of the arts and local community—with a special fondness for Dodger baseball.
Paul Pape, Moderator
Paul Pape is one of the co-founders of the Don LaFontaine Voice-over Lab. A 35-year veteran with over 8000 credits, his corporate spots include SONY Electronics, FOX Sports, the Environmental Defense Fund, IMAX, Lexus, AARP, Electronic Arts and Gillette. He has been one of the main voices for the last four Democratic Presidential campaigns and has also voiced hundreds of spots for Senatorial, Congressional and Gubernatorial candidates. A top ADR performer as well, Paul has worked on over 140 television series, in addition to having contributed to countless major films and animated features.
