SYNOPSIS
Join award winning narrator and international teacher Erin Moon for an in-depth exploration of the craft of audiobook narration. This beginner to newer intermediate level session will cover the building blocks of successful storytelling. Erin will touch on how to identify the protagonist (YOU… most of the time) and how to handle different Point of Views (POVs). Erin will explain what she calls the "Family of Leads” to help you look at the weight of the characters in the story and how that affects the choices you make. She will share tips on how to mine the text for character significance, to identify archetypes and how to decide when or when not to use an accent.
This 2 hour lecture will be followed by a Q&A. For anyone who is new or on the newer side of the intermediate part of their audiobook journey, this opportunity to learn how to make truthful and diverse character choices and honor the world the author has provided, is not to be missed!
