Synopsis

Interested in audiobook narration? Join sought-after voice talent, CEO of Leonardo Audio and Nor'easter Publishing Chris Ciulla for a workshop that will explore what it means to be a successful audiobook narrator.

Chris will begin this session with a one hour lecture that shares what he's learned- both from error and triumph-  during his audiobook journey. The second part of this session will consist of a read and feedback work session with a select number of readers (see note about readers below) and conclude with a Q&A.

NOTE ABOUT READERS : This class will have a very limited number of seats for readers before it is marked 'full' and the waitlist is opened.  If you wish to audit the session (i.e. listen and ask questions  without the opportunity to read), please add your name to the waitlist. All members on the waitlist will be considered seated as auditors. If you do not wish to attend as an auditor, please refrain from putting your name on the waitlist.

Requirements

Readers are selected on a first come first serve basis. Members will be notified if they have booked a reader slot. Readers are required to source a 2-minute scene  (300 words) from a book (not a play or script) in a genre that they wish to pursue and to attend class from a quiet place with a solid internet connection. Auditors (i.e. members on the waitlist) do not need to prepare a script.
