SYNOPSIS
Dancers Forum IV is a full day dedicated to stimulating a deeper understanding of our dance community. Los Angeles dance tribes are multifaceted and complex. Our partner, DanceMapLA.com, sets out to identify, measure, and inform the performer of the current condition of our field. On July 23rd, we will announce the results of the DanceMapLA survey and divide into four discussion groups— PR & Marketing, Basic Needs, Production, and Training & Education— led by specialists in the varied disciplines. In these breakouts, dancers will have the opportunity to voice their own opinions and stories, propose solutions, and create action plans. At the end of the day, we will host a summation where the solutions will be shared and further discussed by our celebrity panelists.
