Come learn Photoshop for headshots

NOTE: This is a TWO HOUR class.

The SAG Foundation is offering an introductory Photoshop CC class at our NYC Actors Center. This two hour class is for SAG-AFTRA members interested in learning Photoshop (PS).  In this class you will learn the basics of how the program works and some of the basic functions used in PS. Included in this class will be how to import files, retouch, color correct, resize, and export a JPEG file for the web.

Please Note: This class is not an introduction on how to use a computer, so basic computer skills are needed.  No exceptions.

Requirements:

- Working knowledge of a Mac/PC OS.
- Desire and ability to learn to edit digital images in Photoshop CC.
- You are welcome to bring your own laptop to work on, but you will need to have your own PS software installed.

The Instructor

Joseph Saito received his MFA in Film Production at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and his BA in both Media Studies and Studio Art from Pitzer College. Prior to the SAG Foundation, Joseph was the Media Producer at NYU's Polytechnic Institute where he consulted faculty and staff on the implementation of digital media and developing media for the Center for Faculty Innovations in Teaching and Learning (FITL).
