Newcomers to VO will benefit most from this workshop.

If you have recently completed the Voiceover Lab Orientation and are just getting started in voice-over, this workshop is especially for you. You will learn about voiceover vocabulary, developing your personal process, identifying your signature voice, voiceover demos, voiceover agents, voice care techniques and much more.  Plus, you will get an opportunity to step into the recording booth, read copy and receive feedback from voiceover actor/instructor, Rick Wasserman.

About our instructor:

Rick is a supporter and good friend of the Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab.  For the past 8 years, Rick has been the signature voice of the AMC Network.  He is regularly heard on promos for HBO, TNT, IFC, ESPN, Fox Sports, TBS, A&E, the Food Network and most recently, CBS!  Additionally, he has narrated documentaries for Discovery, National Geographic, MSNBC and UFC.  His on-camera acting credits include recurring roles on 24, The District and Supah Ninjas.  He is also an accomplished stage and animation voice over actor and enjoys giving back to the VO community through workshops and coaching.

A breakdown of the most important aspects of voice-over for aspiring VO actors.
