CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
California native Alpha Tyler is a theatre graduate from California State University, Northridge. She began her career as a casting intern on the feature film Titanic and later became the casting assistant on the much loved television series Martin. Since 1996, Alpha has worked on numerous television and film projects for Warner Bros, Paramount Studios, DreamWorks Studios, Universal Studios and in New York on the film He Got Game with Spike Lee. In 2007 she moved to Atlanta, GA and became the casting director for Tyler Perry Studios for 4 ½ years. In 2011 she began working with BET where she cast numerous Atlanta based television series and television movies for the network. Some of those projects include The Game, Being Mary Jane with Gabrielle Union and Zoe Ever After with singer Brandy that premiered in January 2016. Additional casting projects include HBO’s Ballers, Adam Sandler’s Grown Ups 2 and a Comedy Central pilot called Overanalyzers. Outside of television and film, she also cast an advertisement campaign for Delta and American Express and is currently working on a web series called Skin Deep. Alpha is a proud member of Georgia Production Partnership and Women in Film and Television Atlanta.

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session.
