SYNOPSIS

This workshop will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.

Please prepare a monologue 2 min. in length or less.

 

CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Geoff Josselson celebrates his 11th year as a New York-based casting director, whose work includes productions for Broadway, off-Broadway and major New York and Regional Theatre companies, including the Arena Stage, Barrington Stage Company, Bay Street Theatre, Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Civilians, Cleveland Play House, Denver Center, Marriott Theatre, The Old Globe, Kansas City Starlight, New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), North Shore Music Theatre, Paramount Theatre, Ripe Time, San Francisco Symphony, Sharon Playhouse, and the York Theatre Company. He has also worked on casting productions for American Conservatory Theatre (ACT), American Repertory Theater (ART), La Jolla Playhouse, McCarter Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Second Stage and Williamstown Theatre Festival.

 Some credits include: The Broadway production of, The Velocity of Autumn, Southern Comfort (Public Theatre), Yank! (York Theatre), Pretty Filthy (The Civilians), John and Jen (Keen Company), Enter Laughing (York Theatre)

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this workshop.

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
