Once you have completed the requisite Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab online application (see Performers Programs on our site), you must complete the orientation in order to begin using the Lab. This orientation covers lab policies, aspects of sound, file formats, sample rates/bit depths, audio interfaces, microphones, functions of recording and a demonstration of a typical voiceover recording, including editing.
Check-in will be in the building lobby from 8:30am - 8:45am. Please do not take the elevator to the Foundation offices.
A representative will check you in in the lobby and direct you from there.
Arrive early. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Bring your valid SAG-AFTRA membership card and valid photo ID. No entry without them.
Bring note taking materials (laptop, tablet, pen, pencil, paper).
The orientation is from 9:00am-11:00am.
Attendees will become VO Lab eligible after completing this VO Lab Orientation.
