SYNOPSIS

Nashville, TN

Does your show need a Stunt Coordinator?  What are the first steps in breaking down a script & identifying the action sequences? How does the stunt department work with other departments and how can other departments be of assistance to stunts? What are the protocols to esnure to ensure the safery of the stunt performer as well as the rest of the cast and crew? These are all questions that will be addressed in this discussion, which will be followed by a Q&A portion with Ian Quinn.

This event will last 60 minutes.

Ian Quinn
is an Emmy Nominated Stunt Coordinator and a Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominated Stuntman with almost 25 years of experience in the film, television, video, and live performance arenas. Ian Quinn spends the better part of his time jumping off buildings, flying through windows, being set on fire, falling out of helicopters, hanging from harnesses, and sailing the high seas. 

A native of Chicago, IL Ian is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a Navy Corpsman. While in the Navy between deployments, Ian found time to win third place in the “All Navy Sailing Championships”. Ian went on to teach sailing in Santa Barbara, CA and in 1996 was named the American Sailing Association “Instructor Of The Year”.
While in the Navy, Ian was also trained in fire fighting and has volunteered as a fire fighter. This training and experience has helped immeasurably in his career as a Stunt Coordinator and Stuntman.
The water seems to be a true comfort zone for Quinn as he is also a certified Swift Water Specialist. While in the Navy Ian was also trained in fire fighting and has volunteered a fire fighter. This training and experience has helped immeasurably in his career as a stuntman and stunt coordinator! 

Over the many years Ian Quinn has developed a solid reputation for safety and reliability. And Ian has repeatedly demonstrated his enthusiasm and efficiency in all phases of stunt development and execution. 

When asked, ”what is the greatest stunt you have ever done or coordinated? Ian is quick to answer, “I haven’t done it yet”
