“ACTING ON MIC” - Two People (Couples) Radio-Mary Elaine Monti

How does a professional voice actor bring a piece of copy to life? What are the secrets to working on the mic and bringing the “Whole Actor” to the process?

In this class, geared specifically for the voice actor in the booth,we will cover:

                                *              Microphone Technique

                                *              Copy Placement; Headphones

                                *              Slating for an audition

                                *              Sharing the mic

                                *              Working off your partner (radio style)

Radio commercials are, in essence, short plays but there is one huge difference, time. Come find out how you can best perform a mini-play and have fun trying. This is radio. You get to use your imaginations.
