SYNOPSIS
Troy, MI
In this new form of Casting Access Online, actors will get a unique opportunity to perform and video chat with the specified Casting Director. Prior to the actual event, actors will prepare their own scene for the class. Then, at the venue they will participate in a Q&A and reading with the CD. Actors will perform one by one via video chat, then receive feedback on their performances. Readers will be selected from the class.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
While working as a Casting Executive at the Fox Network, Ty Harman worked on such shows as 90210, MELROSE PLACE, ALLY MCBEAL and THE X-FILES. Ty has also been a Casting Executive at Universal Television and TNT.
As an independent Casting Director, Ty has worked on the AMERICAN PIE franchise, HBO's GENERATION KILL, the television series WAREHOUSE 13, ALPHAS, SHAKE IT UP, CRASH & BERNSTEIN, MALIBU COUNTRY, THE GAME, GIRLFRIENDS, and BEYOND: TWO SOULS, and a video game (PlayStation) starring Ellen Page, Willem Dafoe, Eric Winter, and Kadeem Hardison. He also cast Disney’s SUPER AWESOME KATY, CRASH AND BERNSTEIN (DISNEY XD), LIV AND MADDIE (DISNEY), SMART ALEC, PARTY PARK, and ROB.
REQUIREMENTS
Please prepare a monologue or scene from a TV show or film of two minutes in length or less. If you choose a scene, please bring a copy for the reader.
You must have completed a Casting Access Online Application prior to registering for this class.
You MUST be able to be at the venue at the listed date and time in order to participate.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admited to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have no received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
