SYNOPSIS
This workshop will include a Q&A and a cold reading session using commercial copy with an experienced casting professional. We will be using the camera. The focus of this class will be learning commercial audition technique.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Since graduating Magna Cum Laude from Brown University, Amy Gossels has cast more than 2000 commercials, including many CLIO winners, during her 24 year career as one of NYC’s preeminent casting directors. Ms. Gossels has also been the casting director, and in many cases a producer, for more than 90 film and television productions. Feature film credits include Something's Gotta Give and short films she cast and produced include Academy Award winner Zen and the Art of Landscaping. Television casting credits include Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Night of Too Many Stars, VHI’s Big Musicand HBO’ sLast Week Tonight with John Oliver.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this workshop.
Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register. Also, should you register for more than one (1) frequency-restricted workshop at a time, the higher-placing workshop registration will be retained and all others will be deleted.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
