Participants in this two hour and a half hour class will perform prepared material for an experienced casting professional. See requirements below for prepared read instructions.
This is an opportunity for actors to perform for Kerry in a safe and intimate environment and receive specific feedback and/or re-direction. This sort of learning experience does not exist in the real world. You either book the audition or you don’t. You rarely have the benefit of any substantial feedback on your performance from a casting director of Kerry's caliber.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Kerry Barden is a native of Atlanta. He majored in theatre at the University of Georgia and has cast over 200 films, including, most notably Boys Don’t Cry, Pitch Perfect, Spotlight, The Girl on the Train, American Psycho, Pineapple Express and four films for director John Waters. As a producer, his credits include the award-winning Conversations with Other Women, starring Aaron Eckhart and Helena Bonham Carter. Kerry is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts, and Sciences; and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
REQUIREMENTS
Please prepare a film/tv SCENE of two minutes in length or less. No monologues. Please bring a copy for the reader.

NO LATE ARRIVALS are admitted. WALK-UPS are welcome, but are only admitted space permitting to replace no-shows.
