SYNOPSIS
Twin Cities, MN
In this new form of Casting Access Online, Twin Cities actors will get a unique opportunity to perform and video chat with New York Casting Director, Brette Goldstein. Actors will prepare a 2 minute or less scene or monologue before class,then will come to the venue FilmNorth for a Q&A and reading for Ms. Goldstein. Actors will perform one by one, then receive live feedback on their performances from Ms. Goldstein. Register now to reserve your slot—space is limited.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Brette Goldstein has cast five television series (USA, LMN, Lifetime, History Channel, Investigation Discovery), over 45 independent films, 200 commercials, 100 plays, seven pilot presentations (Including Odd Mom Out for Bravo) and various new media projects and was the resident casting director at Washington, DC’s Folger Elizabethan Theatre for ten seasons. Films Brette has cast have won awards and been official selections at most of the major film festivals, including Sundance, Tribeca and Cannes. Brette is the former Co-Producing Director of Washington Jewish Theatre, Production Manager at Washington Shakespeare Co., and Associate Producer of the Washington Theatre Festival. REQUIREMENTS
Please prepare a monologue or scene from a TV show or film of two minutes in length or less. If you choose a scene, please bring a copy for the reader.
You must have completed a Casting Access Online Application prior to registering for this class.
You MUST be able to be at the venue at the listed date and time in order to participate.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admited to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have no received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
