--Actors will be added to the class from the waitlist on a first come, first serve basis after we verify that they are between ages 9 and 17--


SYNOPSIS

This class will include a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.

Harriet would like to see you perform something you did recently for an audition, but did not receive a callback on. Together you will work on what you could have done differently. Please bring two copies.


CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

HARRIET GREENSPAN is a former New Yorker who has spent her entire career working primarily in Hollywood as one of the town's top casting directors.

For the past several years, Harriet has concentrated her casting efforts on projects for all of the kid and teen networks, including television movies, series and pilots, as well as feature films. Harriet just finished  casting   the Nickelodeon/WB television soccer movie “Alex and Me.” . She cast last years Christmas movie for Free form and WB,  “Cinderella, If the Shoe Fits,” the T.V. movie “Max 2,” also for Warner (Premiere) Bros and MGM,  “Pure Country,” a country music movie and Deep Blue Sea 2 for WB and Syfy. Currently she is casting Nickelodeon’s new series, “Knight Squad.” Harriet has been casting and coaching several Nickelodeon series.  She was also the on-set acting coach for Nickelodeon’s “House of Anubis”, which took her to England, where the series was shot.

Other credits in this genre include, “Every Witch Way,” “Wits Academy,”  “Talia in the Kitchen,” "True Jackson, V.P.," "Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide," "Bucket and Skinner's Epic Adventures," "Unfabulous," “Mr. Troop Mom”, starring George Lopez, “Shredderman Rules", and "Last Day of Summer", all for Nickelodeon, as well as all of the live action "Scooby Doo" movies for the Cartoon Network and many television movies, such as “Mean Girls 2” for Paramount which aired on Free form. 

Harriet is an Artios Award winner for Outstanding Achievement in Children’s Casting.
 

REQUIREMENTS

You MUST be between ages 9-17 to attend this class.

Actors must be paid-up and active SAG-AFTRA members.

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. You MUST log in to your SAG-AFTRA Foundation account and sign up on our website. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from Casting Access staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVP'd.
