JOHNNY GIDCOMB'S LOOP DE LOOP GROUP ADR (3-HOUR INTENSIVE)

SYNOPSIS

This class teaches the nuts & bolts of looping for film and television, so you will learn what the pros know. This special class offers performers the essential tricks of the trade, so you can develop new skills that can open you up to fresh opportunities within the entertainment industry.

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Johnny Gidcomb

Johnny has done ADR on five of the top ten grossing films of all time: Avatar, Titanic, The Avengers, The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3. During his 19+ years coordinating and casting ADR for feature films and television, Johnny has been grateful to work with some of the most talented directors, editors and sound supervisors in Hollywood. Throughout his career he has also been an active participant in the Los Angeles theatre scene, having directed over 20 productions across the Southland. Under his direction, those productions earned numerous accolades and were nominated for Ovation Awards. In addition to theatre, Johnny directed a short film entitled Sake Bottle Battle that became a film festival favorite across the country. Before venturing into the looping world, he studied theatre at Boston Conservatory of Music, Theatre and Dance, and was the CEO of the Groundlings Theatre, where he ran the facility and the school.

REQUIREMENTS

Participants are required to stay for entirety of the class, which is from 6:30pm-9:30pm.

If you previously attended Johnny Gidcomb's Loop de Loop Group ADR (3-Hour Intensive) at the DLF VO Lab, you are not eligible to attend this offering.
