SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.
Please prepare a monologue or scene of two minutes in length or less.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
ANDREW LYNFORD, CSA
After working as an actor in his native UK (earning him a Best Newcomer nomination in the National Television Awards in the distant past!) Andrew moved in to producing/directing and then casting. Associate West End credits include PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT; GREASE and SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. Further regional and touring theatre credits include SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM; MISERY; A NIGHT OF DIRTY DANCING; OKLAHOMA! & A CHRISTMAS CAROL. TV includes the comedy THE BIRDS (ITV) and children's series GRANDPA IN MY POCKET (BBC).
Since relocating to LA, Andrew has cast the movies CAIN HILL and MONSTER and assisted several leading American CDs on movie and TV projects.
Last year, he cast SKIN OF HONEY for Macha Theatre and AS YOU LIKE IT, for the Chater Shakespeare Workshop. Since joining Center Theatre Group, he has been Associate for ARCHDUKE; HEISENBERG & HEAD OF PASSES (Mark Taper Forum); BLOCK PARTY 2017 SEASON; GOOD GRIEF & BIG NIGHT (Kirk Douglas Theatre); BRIGHT STAR (Ahmanson) and various readings and workshops. And Andrew has just had so much fun as Casting Director for SPAMILTON at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
