SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A and a prepared reading session with an experienced casting professional.
Please prepare a monologue or scene from a TV show or film of two minutes in length or less.
A reader will be available on ZOOM during the class.
All actors will need to email a PDF. of their chosen scene to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation for the reader by 9:00am PST on May 20th. The subject needs to be Casting Access- Natasha Ward. The body of the email MUST include the role that the reader will be reading if you are doing a scene.
RSVP'D Actors will receive a ZOOM Invitation to participate on the morning of the class.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Natasha Ward, URBANFLIX’s Vice President of Casting and Talent Relations
Natasha Ward, CSA is a prominent American casting director. For over 15 years she has cast a wide scope of media from award winning feature films, short films, television, digital series, commercials, theater, and reality. With more than 100 casting projects under her belt and multiple awards in her field, Natasha has begun exploring the realms of producing and has over ten successfully produced projects, including the SXSW premiered film, 9 Rides shot entirely on an iPhone 6 in 4k. Natasha is a member of the Casting Society of America and continues to use her experience as a Casting Director to improve the industry, serving as an acting coach, providing workshops for aspiring actors, and giving lectures and classes to the next generation of Entertainment Professionals.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
