SYNOPSIS

As the past year and a half has shown us, things can change very quickly.  So, what's an actor to do?

Get your long form skills on and get your at-home recording space all bright and shiny!  Because Audiobooks have gone from popular to even more popular and then, there's always podcasts...

Success as a narrator requires several skill sets...including mastering your tech, technique, branding, and curating new clients.

In this 2-day Masterclass we will cover essential audiobook narration skills, studio set-up and recording software requirements. You will also learn how and where to establish an online narrator profile, as well as demo vs. sample requirements.  Plus, when and how to reach out to major publishers

Class 1 is on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Pacific) / 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Eastern).

Class 2 is on Saturday June 26, 2021 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM  (Pacific) / 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Eastern)

There will be a break during each class and the no-show policy applies to each class in the course.

All performers admitted to this course will be on the RSVP list.  We need to clarify that an RSVP is an entry to the program, providing access to all of the course content.  However, an RSVP is not an automatic designated reader opportunity.  As part of the course, our instructor will work directly with a limited number of performers, coaching, directing and assessing your live reads.  Those readers will be randomly selected from a Potential Reader List.  Details about the Potential Reader List will be emailed to everyone on the RSVP list on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 by 12:00 PM (Pacific) / 3:00 PM (Eastern).  Those that make the Potential Reader List will readers will be notified with additional instructions on Thursday, June 24, 2021 by 12:00 PM (Pacific) / 3:00 PM (Eastern).

As previously mentioned, performers that do not make the Potential Reader List will still be an RSVP attendee of the 2-class course, unless you choose otherwise. Being an RSVP enables you to access all of the important information about audiobooks that our instructor wants to share, which can be vital to your interest in audiobook narration.
