SYNOPSIS

Are you spending hours sending commercial auditions into the abyss? Do you feel a twinge in the pit of your stomach before pressing submit?  And never hear a word of feedback on your efforts?

Well, this class is for you!  In honor of The Day of the Dead, industry veteran Hugh P. Klitzke will resurrect a select number of auditions from the digital graveyard. Hugh will play a random selection of audition MP3s submitted by participants prior to class time. He will critique the submitted audition, offer feedback and give the participant an opportunity to do another take during class with his direction. This is not a class for the faint of heart but feedback will be encouraging, supportive and honest.

Please note: A few days prior to class, all participants will receive a packet of commercial audition copy. Participants will be asked to choose one piece of copy and given submission instructions. Several MP3s will be randomly selected to be shared during class time. Due to time constraints not every audition submitted is guaranteed feedback. Selection will happen during class so members will not know beforehand if their submission will be used durning class time. Members are welcome to attend class to listen without submitting an MP3.
