SYNOPSIS

This class will include a Q&A and an ASSIGNED PREPARED READING SESSION with an experienced casting professional.

Actors will be assigned a scene by the Casting Director. Actors will need to prepare the scene ahead of the class. Tuesday, December 6th, the casting director will be sent the Casting Access Profile Headshots to assign scenes. Please make sure they are up to date by Tuesday, December 6th at 9AM PST | 12PM EST(see instructions below on updating your Casting Access Profile Headshot)

RSVP'D actors will receive a ZOOM invitation sent on the day of the class to participate.


CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

M'saada Nia is an independent casting director and freelance associate/assistant who's worked on studio & indie feature films, network series and major video games (CALL OF DUTY: INFINITE WARFARE, MIRROR'S EDGE: CATALYST, BATTLEFIELD 1)  in the offices of renowned Casting Directors Emily Schweber (Sundance film I'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS), Aisha Coley (Oscar winning film SELMA) and Chemin Bernard (96 MINUTES). M'saada recently cast the "Dead Rabbits" segment of the horror anthology feature film XX, the Disney project EXCHANGE and season #1 of the series THE NEW 30. Additionally she's cast ADR/loop groups for numerous features and made for TV movies for Hallmark and Lifetime among others.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.

 Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will receive a link inviting them to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be sent the link to join the class.
