SYNOPSIS

SAG-AFTRA young performers ages 11-17 are invited to participate in this special event.

V.O. veteran Lynnanne Zager will help teen actors learn the ins and outs of commercial voiceover auditions and instruct them on how to use their acting chops to book voiceover jobs. In the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s state-of-the-art recording studio, performers will record copy while Lynnanne offers direction and coaching, so come prepared to show her what you can do.

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Lynnanne Zager is one of the voiceover community’s most respected actors, teachers and casting directors. After receiving her BFA and MFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts she became Talent Coordinator of Hanna-Barbera Studios with 29 cartoon shows on the air including Scooby Doo, The New Flintstones, Richie Rich and Super Friends and was part of the producing and casting team for the original cartoon series, The Smurfs.

She has been a voiceover actor for over 25 years. Lynnanne's voice has been heard in more than 500 feature films, television programs, commercials, industrials and video games.

Lynnanne most recently cast young actors’ voices for SPROUT and ADR Voiceover for The Book of Life, Game of Thrones, Criminal Minds, CSI New Orleans, The Preacher and is very proud to have cast the young actor's ADR voices in the last 5 Dreamworks movies, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, Kung Fu Panda 3, Penguins of Madagascar, The Boss Baby and Captain Underpants.

She is very proud to be mentoring and teaching voiceover acting in all genres to young actors and to be a part of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Don LaFontaine VO Lab and now the EIF VO Lab in New York – having a passion for passing it on to the next generation (as Don LaFontaine did with her!) http://lazager.com.
