SYNOPSIS
This workshop will include a Q&A and a prepared vocal session with an experienced casting professional.
Please prepare one 32 bar/one minute long cut of a song- it can be any style you want but most importantly, please have sheet music with you for the accompanist.

Please do not arrive before 6:15pm as there will not be ample waiting space for the class.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Kaitlin Shaw started her casting career as an intern at Tara Rubin Casting in 2008 and has been with the office ever since. She is currently a Casting Director and proud CSA member. Some favorite projects with Tara Rubin Casting include Les Miserables (current national tour), Prince of Broadway, Crazy for You(25thAnniversary concert and upcoming production at Center Theatre Group),Disaster!(Broadway)Flashdance(National tour), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Paper Mill Playhouse and La Jolla Playhouse),Little Dancer(Kennedy Center), Clinton, the Musical(NYMF and New World Stages), andseveral plays and musicals for Bucks County Playhouse. She has worked on the Broadway productions of Falsettos A Bronx Tale, Aladdin, Gigi, Les Miserables(25th Anniversary Production), The Phantom of the Opera, Bullets Over Broadway, Mothers and Sons, A Time to Kill, Big Fish, Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Promises, Promises. Kaitlin won a 2016 CSA Artios award for castingClinton, The Musical. Kaitlin hails from Southern California and studied Dramatic Art and American Studies at University of California, Davis.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this workshop.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed. This event will be a minimum of 3 hours, be prepared to stay for the entire time.
