CLASS SYNOPSIS

This one-night class addresses four important areas of employment in voiceover: documentary narration, corporate/industrial narration, TV promos, and movie trailers. In class we will narrate copy and discuss how to make demos for each of these voiceover categories.


INSTRUCTOR BIO

Bill Ratner is one of America’s most successful voiceover performersnarrating for CBS-TV, Fox-TV, The Cartoon Network, movie trailers for Breathe, Ferdinand, The Emoji Movie, Despicable Me 3, Inside Out, narrator for Discovery ID: I Almost Got Away With It, Smithsonian Channel: Air Disasters, the voice of "Flint" in the TV cartoon G.I. Joe, and "Ambassador Donnell Udina" in Mass Effect 1, 2 & 3.

Bill is a winner of The Society of Voice Arts & Sciences: Best Overall Body of Voiceover Award and is a nine-time winner of The Moth Storytelling Slams. Bill’s storytelling is featured on National Public Radio.

He is a founding member of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Don La Fontaine Voiceover Lab where he teaches voiceover and serves on the Advisory Committee.

Please note this class will be roughly 3 hours. You will be marked as a "no-show" should you not attend for the full duration of the class. 

Be prepared to read.

Must have completed 2 solo booth sessions.
