SYNOPSIS

This in-person class will include a Q&A with Portland based Casting Director, Simon Max Hill,  followed by a prepared reading session

Participating actors will  be assigned a scene prior to class to prepare and perform.

ABOUT SIMON

simon max hill has been casting film and television in Portland since 2003.  He’s best known for casting 8 seasons of IFCs “Portlandia” and for fearing trees and animals.  Other notable projects include 2008’s “Wendy & Lucy” and 2021’s “PIG”. He is afraid of animals, likes metaphors, and likes it when actors are unafraid to do it very, very wrong.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 30-day frequency restriction applies to this class. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 30 (thirty) days prior to this event to be eligible to register. 

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
