This class will include a Q&A with NY based Casting Director Rebecca Weiss, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from theatre.

ABOUT REBECCA WEISS:

Rebecca Weiss, CSA is a Casting Director and Casting Partner with McCorkle Casting with a background in artisting producing as well as casting, and a love for new works.  With McCorkle Casting, Rebecca primarily casts for theater and film.  Recent film projects include the feature films Motherland, There She Goes, The Movers, A Killer Romance, The Lunch Hour, Tripped Up, Renner, The Mistress, Hallmark original films A Spectacular Christmas and Ghosts of Christmas Always and more. She has cast dozens of plays, musicals, and developed new works for Barrington Stage Company, The Guthrie Theater, Playmakers Rep, Studio Theater, City Theatre, George Street Playhouse, Milwaukee Rep, The Olney, Crossroads Theatre Company and more. Prior to joining McCorkle Casting Rebecca held artistic producing positions at Barrington Stage Company, Symphony Space, as well as at The Playwrights Realm, where she continues to work with early career playwrights. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester's International Theater Program.
