This class will include a Q&A with NY based casting professional Tanis Parenteau, followed by a prepared work session. 

Participating actors will choose, prepare and perform sides from film, television or theatre.

ABOUT TANIS:

Tanis Parenteau is an actor, producer, and casting associate. Acting credits include—TV: Billions, FBI: Most Wanted, Designated Survivor, House of Cards, and Gossip Girl. NYC Theater: The Public Theater, Signature Theater, 59E59 Theaters, La Mama. Regional: Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Voiceover: Molly of Denali, Audie Award Finalist for Bad Cree, and two Audiofile awards. She has produced eight short films, an APTN lumi short form series which she also stars in called Jason, and is developing multiple features and tv series. Tanis is on the SAG-AFTRA National Native Americans Committee and freelances as a Native American casting consultant. As a casting associate at tbd casting co, Tanis has helped cast projects at Soho Rep, Tectonic Theater Project, Labyrinth Theater, Keen Company, Miami New Drama, La Jolla Playhouse, NYTW, 59E59 Theaters, NAATCO, and Playwright’s Center.
