SYNOPSIS 

They will discuss the genesis of their projects, their experiences making the films and getting into Sundance.

Many of these industry professionals have already enjoyed a great deal of career success and will discuss their creative challenges and successes as well as how their work relates to actors and the business of acting.

PANELIST BIOS 

Brandt Andersen, producer - Don Verdean
Brandt Andersen is a Producer who is known for such films as Everest starring Jake Gyllenhall and Keira Knightley, Lone Survivor starring Mark Wahlberg and Taylor Kitsch, 2 Guns starring Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, and Broken City starring Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crow, and the Golden Globe nominated film The Flowers of War starring Christian Bale. Brandt is a member of the Producers Guild of America.
In 2006 Brandt purchased an NBA Development League franchise from the NBA. During the 4 seasons the team played they made the finals or playoffs every year. In 2013 Brandt sold the team to the Philadelphia 76ers.
In 1998, while attending University Brandt founded uSight, a technology company that created banking and transaction software for small businesses. In 2004 Inc. Magazine reported that the company was the second fastest growing company on its annual Inc 500 list. Brandt, was the youngest CEO to make the list. Brandt sold and exited the company in early 2005. Following the sale he returned to school and graduated with a BA in Fine Arts.
Brandt has spent much of his life overseas. He has lived for extended periods in Switzerland, France, Germany, and Chile and is fluent in Spanish and French. Brandt is committed to philanthropy and has traveled internationally to Africa and Haiti to assist with humanitarian efforts. His trip to Haiti came three days after the earthquake that devastated the country. While in Haiti USA Today listed Brandt's twitter account as one of their top 10 most interesting twitter accounts to follow. Brandt lives in Malibu, California.


Jesse Brown, producer - The Strongest Man
Jesse Brown is an independent film producer from Salt Lake City, Utah. He has worked on a number of short and feature length films, most recently, an independent feature titled The Strongest Man, which was an official selection at the 2015 Sundance film festival. He is also involved in the David Ross Fetzer Foundation for Emerging Artists, a foundation dedicated to promoting innovative theater and film through grants and mentoring. Jesse has a profound respect and admiration for the great outdoors as well, wether he is white water rafting and fishing or going on week long backpacking trips with his friends, his passion and enjoyment of the outdoors is quite obvious to all. Jesse is a highly passionate person, and it shows in everything he does, from his work to his personal life.


Dave Hunter, producer - Don Verdean
Dave Hunter is a partner in the Buffalo Film Company. Along with partners Brandt Andersen and Jared Hess, the company is committed to doing projects from development, funding, producing, directing, and creative producing.
Before partnering with Buffalo Films, Dave produced several films that ranged from Hallmark Channel films, to doing “The Nitro Circus” with Johnny Knoxville and Channing Tatum and everything in between.


Adam Trahan, manager, executive producer - I'll See You In My Dreams
Adam Trahan is the Head of Talent and a Partner at the Talent Management and Production Company, HBS Management, where he heads their Century City office (HBS also has offices in Nashville, TN and Atlanta, Ga). Trahan manages the careers of multiple well known actors, actresses, directors and digital media personalities, including Lyndie Greenwood (Sleepy Hollow, Nikita), Ben Reed (American Sniper), Chelsea Cardwell (Banshee), J Michael Trautmann (Shameless, Here Comes the Boom), director Nina Ljeti (Memoria) and Stacey Dash (Clueless). On the digital side, Trahan represents major Youtubers, 24 year old Andrew Hales (LAHWF--2.5 million subscribers and over 250 million views) and 19 year old musician/singer Anna Sentina (160,000 subscribers, over 20 million views) amongst others. As a producer, Trahan is the Executive Producer of the feature film I’ll See You In My Dreams, which is premiering at Sundance 2015 and stars Blythe Danner, Malin Akerman, Martin Starr, Sam Elliott, Rhea Perlman and June Squibb. Trahan is also producing the upcoming Nina Ljeti feature Things You Missed While You Were Gone alongside Tom van Dell and Radar Pictures and will star Jena Malone, Thomas Mann and Shane West.
Before moving to HBS Management, Trahan was President of the Talent/Literary Management and production company Artist International, which won four Golden Globes for producing the feature film, The Kids Are All Right.
