Synopsis --Season Three

Season three of the BBC AMERICA’s groundbreaking original drama plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. No sooner has Sarah caught her breath after a stealthy escape from DYAD, and the ruthless clone Rachel, she is called upon to face a new set of identical, militaristic male clones dubbed Project Castor. But it is the discovery of Helena’s disappearance that spurs Sarah into action, rallying her sisters in the quest to reunite their clone family, and find peace once and for all.

Tatiana Maslany – Sarah and the Leda Clones

Golden Globe nominated actress Tatiana Maslany stars in the unprecedented lead role as multiple clones in BBC AMERICA’S award-winning series Orphan Black. In 2013, the part earned her the Critics' Choice TelevisionAward for Best Dramatic Actress, the TCA Award for Individual Achievement in Drama, a Young Hollywood Award for breakthrough performance, a Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress in a TV Drama and her first Golden Globe nomination for Best Dramatic Actress. In 2014, she received her second Critics' Choice nomination as well as a TCA Award nomination for Individual Achievement in Drama.

Maslany most recently wrapped production on The Weinstein Company’s The Woman in Gold, starring alongside Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds. 

Chosen as one of its “Rising Stars” at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, Maslany earned Best Performance awards from the Whistler International Film Festival and ACTRA for her role as the troubled, promiscuous teenager Claire in Picture Day. Her starring role in Grown Up Movie Star competed at Sundance in 2010, and she garnered the Special Jury Prize for Breakout Star at the festival as well as a Genie nomination. Her feature credits also include Cas and Dylan, acclaimed indie drama Picture Day, The Vow, Violet and Daisy, and a lead in the improvisational feature Blood Pressure.

Numerous television credits include World Without End, BBC/CBC co-production Nativity, and roles in Flashpoint and Bloodletting and Miraculous. Shewas recently seen in a two-episode arc Parks and Recreation.


Moderator Bio

Emma Brown is the Senior Online Editor at Interview magazine in New York, supervising all online content and social media with a special focus on film, culture, and fashion. Since starting at Interview in 2011, she has interviewed over 400 actors, directors, writers, designers, and musicians, including Robert Duvall, Ava DuVernay, Michael Shannon, Felicity Jones, Billy Bob Thornton, and Michel Gondry. Originally from London, England, Emma is a graduate of Brown University.
