CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Wayne Morse is originally from Boston where he grew up and attended college and graduated with a degree in Marketing.
He moved to Los Angeles in 1999 where he studied acting for 5 years at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Mitlon Katselas. Consequently while studying acting he started working at Mary Vernieu/Anne McCarthy’s casting office where he was a reader during Director sessions. He made the transition solely to casting soon thereafter and knows what it’s like to be on the actor’s side. He started as a Casting Assistant working on projects like Training Day, Requiem for a Dream, Bad Santa, Sin City and many others. After 5 years he went with Anne McCarthy when she started her own company and moved up to Casting Associate and then Casting Director. While at Anne’s company he worked on projects like Waiting, Wild Hogs, A Perfect Getaway, Riddick, Oculus, The Conjuring and Insidious, as well as many others.
In January 2013, he started his own casting company, Wayne Morse Casting.
