SYNOPSIS
For a Voiceover performer, being able to do credible accents is crucial to expanding their opportunities in the Commercial, Animation, Audiobooks, and Animation VO realms.
Agent: "Oh, Don't learn accents - we will find someone who speaks like that."
Try telling that to an audio book narrator who has to do Russian, British, and French characters all in one scene and move back and forth, or the Outback Steakhouse Commercial performer who happens to be American.
Are your accents married to specific characters or are they accents that you can put on ANY character that you play? Many performers marry their characters to an accent and when they go into that accent, they also jump into that character.
In this workshop, we will begin with a study of the British accent.
This workshop will end at 5:00 p.m.
