SYNOPSIS

This online workshop will provide feedback from an experienced casting professional. No more than 20 performers will be participating. 

When a new Casting Access Online workshop is announced, eligible performers RSVP to request a space in the workshop and are added to the workshop on a first-come/first-served basis. Confirmed participants will be notified by e-mail. 

The date listed for the workshop is the day enrollment and cancellation close, and your headshots are sent to the casting director. Later that week, participants will receive sides specially selected for them by the participating casting director. 

Once you have received your sides, you will have until the deadline to rehearse, record, and upload a video containing your performance of the sides. You will upload the video using your YouTube account and email the video link. Finally, the casting director will review your workshop video and provide notes.

CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Amanda Lee Jacoby is an independent film casting director and casting associate depending on the project. Her most recent work this year includes the independent feature films SCALES, VARSITY PUNKS, ODIOUS, and the CBS pilot, CODE BLACK. She is currently prepping casting on a physiological thriller feature and an A-list music project. She loves actors and wants to help you achieve your goals in the casting room.

REQUIREMENTS

You must have completed a Casting Access Online application prior to registering for this workshop. 

If you RSVP for this workshop you must be able to upload your video by 9:00am PST on September 21st. DO NOT BE LATE. Those who have been seated by September 14th are expected to comply. You must cancel your reservation before September 14th if you cannot comply, or you will face a six month ineligibility period.
