Important: Feel free to add your name to the lists of both of Bill's "x 2" workshop series' (Commercial and Narration).  However, you may only attend one of them.  Also, this workshop is a two-class series.  You are required to attend on Thursday, May 19, 2016 and Thursday, May 26, 2016.  If you cannot attend both workshops in their entirety, please refrain from registering.

Synopsis

In this two-class workshop, actors will dive deep into short form and long form narration voiceover.  Whether voicing documentaries, features or episodics, narration is a challenging skill that can open doors to new opportunities and creative breakthroughs for voice actors.  It is not easy to master, but this intensive series aims to help you gain a better sense of how engaging narration can breathe life into visual content.

  • This workshop is scheduled for 7:00pm-9:30pm (may extend to 10:00pm).

Bill Ratner is one of America’s most-heard voices on movie trailers, TV promos, documentaries, commercials, games & cartoons.  He is the original voice of “Flint” on G.I. Joe, Robot Chicken & Family Guy. He is an eight-time winner of The Moth Storytelling SLAMs. His stories are featured on National Public Radio. He serves on the Advisory Board of SAG Foundation/Don La Fontaine Voiceover Lab.
