  • This group ADR workshop is for actors ages 15-22.  If you are not in that age range, please do not sign up for this offering.  Instead, select from Karen's group ADR workshops on October 22, 2016 and October 29, 2016.

Synopsis:

The acronym ADR stands for "Automatic or Automated Dialogue Replacement."  It is also referred to as "Looping" or "Walla."  This post-production process can be performed by actors individually or by actors within a group. In this workshop, ADR veteran Karen Huie will focus on Group ADR, which is the art of providing voices for everyone other than the principal actors in films or television shows. The focus will be on actors ages 15-22 to provide a foundation of the craft and practical application of the necessary preparations and basic principles of group ADR. Actors will start by listening to the ambient sounds of film and television content and then learn and practice the way it's done.

Check in begins at 12:45pm and the workshop is from 1:00pm-4:00pm.

No RSVP available? No problem.  Don't be discouraged. Add your name to the Waitlist.  It's a good way to get into this workshop.
