INSTRUCTOR BIO

Ian James Corlett

For 3 decades Ian has been serving up unique voice characterizations for projects of every genre.

His beginnings were voicing radio and TV commercials, but he soon found himself working in animated features and series, ranging from the cuteness of PBS Kids' Emmy nominated, Dinosaur Train to Cartoon Network's zany Johnny Test to the latest Disney Jr. hit, Vampirina.

Going further back, Ian originated the iconic English dub voice of Goku in Dragonball Z, as well as providing the voice of 90's icons, Megaman and Bob in Reboot.

Most of Ian's time is spent in front of a microphone, but when he isn't recording, he's writing; creating several hit series', including his namesake, Being Ian, which ran for 65 episodes.  He has also written a film.  Additionally, he is an avid fan of professional motorsports and even races his own car.

When not working, he is a family man with a son, daughter and lovely wife. Also to his credit, he was able to escape the rains of Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) and now calls the sunny skies of Los Angeles his home.
