SYNOPSIS

This workshop will include a Q&A and a cold reading session using commercial copy with an experienced casting professional. We will be using the camera.

 

CASTING DIRECTOR BIO

Scott Wojcik supplemented his acting career with work as a freelance Casting Assistant for several Independent Casting Directors until 1999 when he joined Charles Rosen Casting. Scott became partner of the renamed Rosen & Wojcik casting in 2005. In 2009, the company transitioned to Wojcik | Seay Casting. Wojcik | Seay casts in all areas of the industry and casts seasons for six regional theaters and individual projects in TV, Film, Web as well as all areas of the Commercial side of the industry.

Off-Broadway casting credits include Tennessee Williams’ The Two Character Play, National PastimeTriassic Parq and Philosophy for Gangsters.  He has also cast the tours of Joseph and the Amazing TechnicolorDreamcoat, Oklahoma! and A Chorus Line.  Commercial clients include Verizon, Canon, Bose, Capital One, Prego, HBO and many more.

You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.

Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted workshop must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register.

NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
