"Acting on The Mic" with Mary Elaine Monti

Wednesday, May 22, 2019

3:00 PM EDT
Check-in begins at: 2:50 PM EDT

Bring your whole actor to class and review or learn the basics for auditioning and working in front of the mic including: microphone technique, copy placement, slating and how headphones work best for you. We’ll concentrate on VO Tags (aka “3-in-a-row”) but, hopefully, you’ll walk away with a set of “VO Tools” that will allow you to bring all sorts of copy to life!

Mary Elaine Monti’s career has been most diverse: from appearing in Macbeth at Lincoln Center to guest roles on Law & Order to selling Lysol on TV. She leads a New York actor’s life with credits in film, theatre, television, audio books, animation, improvisation and commercials, both on-camera and off. She received her Meisner training from William Esper and is a proud member of Equity and SAG-AFTRA.

Two (2) Solo Booth sessions must be completed prior to attending.

You will be removed from RSVP list if you have previously taken this class
