SYNOPSIS
This program will serve as a master class for advanced voiceover performers and as an informative learning experience for voiceover performers at other skill levels. Auditioning from home is often the norm for voice actors. However, it is difficult to know if your audition is spot-on or off-the-mark. What do you do when you are uncertain about your creative choices? In this class, veteran voice actor, Dee Bradley Baker will share techniques and insights about how to optimize your home voiceover auditions with an emphasis on auditioning for animation and video games. Come ready to learn how to avoid common auditioning pitfalls, improve your self-directing skills and how to take an active stance in the studio and in your work. An actor's job isn't to book a gig, it is to create something so good, so right, that they have to hire you-- again and again. Ten (10) actors will be selected from a larger group to help Dee execute his techniques. Those actors not selected will be able to take advantage of the instruction and information imparted by Dee.
