SYNOPSIS
SEBERG is a political thriller inspired by real events about the French New Wave darling and Breathless star Jean Seberg (played in the film by Kristen Stewart). The film focuses on Seberg in the late 1960s when she was targeted by Hoover's FBI, because of her political and romantic involvement with civil rights activist Hakim Jamal (Anthony Mackie). SEBERG, directed by Benedict Andrews, with a screenplay by Anna Waterhouse and Joe Shrapnel, also stars Jack O'Connell, Margaret Qualley, Zazie Beetz, Yvan Attal, Colm Meaney, and Vince Vaughn.
