CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Satchel Buck Jones -- named after a baseball player and not to be confused with a bag -- is a freelance casting associate who recently moved to LA after seven years in NYC. After graduating with a B.F.A in Theatre Arts & Creative Writing from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA, Satchel took two weeks to collect his things before he promptly packed up his life and left the Midwest for NYC. Upon arriving, he fell into the world of talent representation and worked for nearly three years in the commercial Voice-Over Department at CESD Talent Agency. Having loved working one-on-one with actors but wanting to focus more on television, theatre, and film, he made the jump into casting assisting legendary Casting Director, Ellen Lewis. Since then he's worked for the likes of Allison Estrin & Henry Russell Bergstein of Estrin/Bergstein Casting, Cody Beke and Seth White of Beke/White Casting, and more. Most recently he made the move out west and completed Season 2 of the Showtime series, "Black Monday" with Telsey + Co.
