SYNOPSIS
Presented annually by the Casting Society of America, the Artios Award is one of the most prestigious honors a casting director can receive. An ancient Greek word meaning “perfectly fitted,” the Artios celebrates excellence in casting film, television, and theater. Nomination criteria includes originality, creativity, and the contribution of casting to the overall quality of the project. Join us for an evening with 2020 Artios Children's Pilot and Series nominees to learn about their casting process and invaluable best practices for actors.

PANELISTS
Salvatore Schiavone - Eric Souliere Casting - Associate, Bunk'd
Salvatore Schiavone has been working in casting for 7+ years, primarily in television as a casting associate. He started his career as a temp at NBC Casting, and quickly transitioned into freelance casting for both comedy and drama. Sal has cast projects for companies including Disney Channel, FOX, ABC, Hulu, Freeform, and New Line Cinema. He has worked with casting directors Howard Meltzer, Eric Souliere, Dorian Frankel & Sibby Kirchgessner, Rich Delia, Susie Farris, and Mele Nagler. He is based in Los Angeles, and lives with his two adorable cats.
Krisha Bullock - Bullock & Snow Casting, Henry Danger
Krisha Bullock is a multi-award winner and nominee with over 20 years of casting experience, specializing in youth programming. She has been nominated for over a dozen Artios awards by the Casting Society of America, with a win in 2013 for iCarly, as well as a past winner of the Seymour Heller Award for Television Casting Director of the Year. Outside of casting, Krisha has been a mentor and teacher to thousands of hopeful young people, helping them break into the industry by navigating them toward a professional career.
Together as Bullock and Snow Casting, Krisha and Jamie have cast numerous children's television shows, specializing in comedy, as well as other projects in the industry. Together they are the 2019 Seymour Heller Award Winners for Youth Television Casting Director(s) of the Year by the Talent Manager's Association which honors, "those in the industry who operate with dedication and the highest of ethics and standards". Krisha and Jamie are so grateful that they get to spend most of their days laughing while working hard to find the best talent for every role. They pride themselves on maintaining an inviting and actor friendly atmosphere and make sure that they keep their office a youthful and fun place to be creative in.
Jamie Snow - Bullock & Snow Casting, Henry Danger
Jamie Snow began her career as a young Actor. Over 20 years ago, when Jamie met Krisha in the audition room, neither of them would have imagined the partnership and friendship they would later develop. Jamie graduated with her degree in Dramatic Arts and Film from the University of Southern California and re-crossed paths with Krisha over 10 years later when Jamie found her calling in the world of casting. With her Acting career beginning at the age of 14 on The Amanda Show, Jamie has used her knowledge in front of the camera, to help guide Actors from behind the camera.
Together as Bullock and Snow Casting, Krisha and Jamie have cast numerous children's television shows, specializing in comedy, as well as other projects in the industry. Amber Horn - Aufiero/Horn Casting, Andi Mack, Raven's Home
Spanning over a decade Danielle Aufiero and Amber Horn have had the honor of casting several critically acclaimed television series such as The CW's Comic-Con darling "The 100" and Disney’s breakout hit, “Andi Mack”. They also have several Netflix series including “On My Block”, the second season of “The OA”, newly aired “The Healing Powers of Dude”, and the upcoming highly anticipated “The Babysitters’ Club”.
They also have a consistent slate of independent films and have cast over 50, several of which have premiered at major festivals including Zal Batmanglij's "sound of my voice”, outlandish hit "The Greasy Strangler", “Cheap Thrills”, “Daniel Isn’t Real” and “Color Out of Space”. They currently consult with SpectreVision on their upcoming slate of genre films.
