SYNOPSIS
This class will include a Q&A and a Prepared Reading session with an experienced casting professional. All prepared reads must be submitted to castingaccess@sagaftra.foundation by Monday, February 10th.
CASTING DIRECTOR BIO
Kristi is a Latina casting director and producer based in Los Angeles. She has cast projects with ABC, Amazon, CBS, Fox, GLAAD, Google, HBO, NBC, Paramount Pictures and Warner Brothers, most recently working as the Associate Casting Director on “Transparent: The Musical Finale” for Amazon with Jill Soloway executive producing.
Lugo began her career casting the short film "Cristina,” starring Latina breakout star, Alicia Sanz, then most recently cast “Smoke” starring Billy Porter and Alexandra Grey with Deondray Gossfield directing.
Lugo is currently casting the indie feature film, "When Time Got Louder," starring "Hunger Games" star Willow Shields and producing the feature film adaption of the viral short "Pretty Boy," alongside Adam Englehard and Bash Naran with Cameron Thrower directing.
REQUIREMENTS
You must have completed a Casting Access Application prior to registering for this class.
Please note that the 90-day frequency restriction applies to this workshop. Your last frequency-restricted class must have taken place no less than 90 (ninety) days prior to this event to be eligible to register. Also, should you register for more than one (1) frequency-restricted class at a time, the higher-placing workshop registration will be retained and all others will be deleted.
NO LATE ARRIVALS and NO WALK-INS are admitted. Only those participants who have received a telephoned or e-mailed confirmation message from staff will be admitted to the session. Waitlisted individuals who have not received such confirmation will not be admitted at the door. Please do not show up if you have not been explicitly confirmed as RSVPed.
