SYNOPSIS

Promo voiceover is when a voice actor adds a little vocal sheen to visuals that promote TV and streaming programs.  The voiceover can be funny, serious, dramatic, scary, sensual, sad, mysterious...you name it. The flavor of the VO can be shaped by the visual content or vice versa, so understanding how timing, cadence, tone, resonance and inflection can make a promo performance shine is vital to finding success in the genre.  In this program the focus will be on key elements that voice actors can learn, in order to produce better performances and break new ground in promo VO.
