CLASS SYNOPSIS

This is a wide-ranging conversation for actors interested in breaking into audiobook narration but who aren't sure how to create an effective narrator presence online.

This workshop will cover:

  • Creating a strong online profile (audio samples, bio and background info, etc)
  • Strategically selecting auditions (rate vs. length vs. time considerations)
  • Submitting a powerful audition (identifying genre strengths, capitalizing on audition guideline and textual cues)
  • Managing contact and negotiations with authors
  • Using your ACX work to build your audiobook career outward

Please note: This discussion will not cover the technical aspects of audiobook file mastering to meet ACX/Audible standards.
